Season 2008/09 Role of Honor

Season 2008/09 has been another succesfull season for our club with League Titles, League Cups and County Cups all finding a home on our trophy shelf.  Congratulations to all involved with every team and for working hard all season.

Under 8's and Ankle Biters (7 & Under) - Well done on a great 1st season

Under 9's - 4th in League

Under 10's - League Cup Winners

Under 11's - League Champions & League Cup Runners-up

Under 12's - League Champions, League Cup and County Cup Winners

Under 12's Girls - Well done to everyone involved in our first season

Under 13's - League Champions & League Cup Winners

Under 14's - County Cup Winners, League and League Cup Runners-up

Under 16's - 3rd in League and County Cup Semi-Finalists

The Liverpool Connection

At Cleator Moor Celtic we try to provide a high level of football coaching for kids of all ages and abilities.  In the past, as well as competing succesfully in local, national and even international tournaments, we have had the priviledge of taking teams to compete against professional clubs like Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Glasgow Celtic.  Recently though we have had the honour of being invited to play games at the legendary Liverpool Academy.
The academy at Liverpool has a history of producing top quality players with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen and Jamie Carragher all coming through the academy ranks to play in Liverpools first team.  This link with Liverpool is incredibly important to the club and the community and everyone involved at the Celtic is committed to nurturing this relationship and forging strong links with the Merseyside reds.

We will be adding a Liverpool Academy page to the site in the near future informing everyone of our past and future visits to the club.  We hope that the link will help bring more talented youngsters into our various age groups and give our existing youngsters even more incentive to train hard and show what we are capable of here in the North West.
